How is it that it is June already?
Just as I suspected, we were so busy with company that the time flew by and our little boy is almost 3 months old...and to me, that is a good thing!!
The end of April we had Nannie and Poppy here.
The day that they left, the Hitchcocks arrived for two weeks...
...then we had a week to ourselves and Uncle Zach showed up.

As soon as we dropped Zach off at the airport, we decided to join the zoo.
That will be something fun to do this summer.
Mother's Day was in there - complete with a Mother's tea with Chase in her classroom.
The kids all voted and wanted to serve chicken noodle soup and chocolate ice cream with lemonade.
Her teacher said that was the first year they'd ever had soup!! It had been a long time since I had soup from a can! It was a nice morning though and Aunt Anna kept Beck for me so I could have a special morning with Chase.
And rounding out the month was Memorial Day weekend which we spent one day down at the beach, but on the Bayside with a bunch of our friends. It was so relaxing. Since we were on the bay, there were no waves so the girls were more inclined to go in and play.
We are surely adjusting to life as a family of 4.
It's good most of the time.
Still some hairy moments in there every now and then.
I can't quite figure out how to cook dinner!
But that will come in time. Until then, super simple!
I hope I haven't lost all of my friends & family in this time of rare blogging.
I hope to get better each week.
