A moment I want to pause, savor,  and remember.

8 Months Old:

My sweet guy is already 8 months old! Time is passing quickly.

He weighs about 18 pounds.  He is a good eater.  He mostly eats formula now.  He'll nurse for his first feeding, but refuses the rest of the day.  He goes to sleep about 7pm and sleeps until about 

6-7am.  He still may wake and cry a bit but John will go in and give him his paci.  He'll either go back to sleep or cry til he falls back to sleep.  He naps from about 8:30-10:30ish and again from about 2-4ish.  He loves his pureed baby food that I make him: sweet potatoes, butternut squash, broccoli, pears, peas, beans...

He loves his sister and puts up with most of her antics!  She is wild about him and is thrilled every day that we pick her up from school.

He is definitely on the move.  He can get anywhere he wants by scooting.  He is more snake-like than anything!

(I wrote this two weeks ago and forgot to publish - oops!!)

I just love this smiley guy.  People are always asking me if he smiles all the time.  Generally, yes!

The Lord was so gracious to me and knew what I needed and could handle.

I had a random older man at Weight Watchers today tell me that he just makes his day when he sees him each week!  I hadn't even ever noticed this guy!  How odd is that?!?

{Halloween. AKA= Just Another Dress Up Day}

 We had a fun day on Halloween.

Chase got to dress up at the start of school for a parade.

She chose to wear her favorite Ariel costume to school.

Thank goodness I didn't go to the trouble to SEW anything!

And thank goodness we have 20 costumes!!!

It was a full day of sugar & fun!
