Chase and I baked cookies this week to take to a cookie exchange.
I always think it's going to be fun baking with little girl...but, alas, not quite yet!!
Soon though, very soon!
We made this recipe that I found on Pinterest.com.
It was simple and delish!!
Little girl was quite pleased with the outcome and would have eaten a lot more than I let her if given the chance.
We had a fun night at the cookie party. Chase had to go with me because John was at a meeting, and for being the only child there, did great. She played with some food and a tea set and was offered cookies, but didn't really go for any. That child takes after her daddy, not me!!
And we came home with more cookies than we could ever eat: gingerbread men, tollhouse cookies, not mrs. fields/not nieman marcus cookies, mexican/italian wedding cakes x2, spritz cookies. My faves were the gingerbread men; plus they were cute!
Looks fun! Keep working at cooking. Ella's actually genuinely helpful now. The cookies look cute. We'll be doing this too this week as the cookie swap is next week!
